Talks a load of nonsense about wine
Hello, I'm Gino!

All the way back in Cheltenham, United Kingdom in 2014 I started to take more of an interest in wine. After a fruitful wine tasting as part of my training with Boston Tea Party I started to notice some of the nuances in flavour. As a result I stopped buying the 1litre carton of Tesco Value wine for £4 and instead started buying the 75cl bottles of whatever other wine I could find for £6!

Since that revelation I have completed WSET1&2 under a Master of Wine, hosted numerous tastings (of varying levels of chaos) as well as working a season at the lovely English Oak Vineyard in Dorset.

I now reside in Japan where I've been able to take the 6-month WSET3 course in Tokyo, led by an Italian Wine Scholar. I have also started my sake education, hopefully working again up to level 3, having achieved level 1 with the WSET day course (+exam) at the end of 2019.

Nice to meet you or, should I say, hajimimashite!
